Summary:

The talk will have two main parts: The first is to continue the evaluation of one's skill in being able to deliver execute a behavior analytic feeding program (i.e., is this in my scope of practice). The second part will detail the necessary of assessment information needed to establish objective, identifiable behaviors of concern necessary to establish present levels of feeding performance (i.e., behavior) and to measure progress of treatment efforts using these objective measures.

Learning Objectives:

  • How to properly, collect and depict progress monitoring data using observerable, measurable, feeding measures that coincide with Federal Special Education code and the BACB Ethical code.
  • Determine the scope and sequence of a feeding treatment course.
  • Present 5 common ethic dilemmas common to the practice of pediatric feeding assessment and treatment as they relate to the BACB Ethical code.
