Description: Sex education is often not provided to individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other developmental disabilities.  As a result, such individuals may engage in inappropriate behavior towards others, and sometimes even accidental self-harm.  The talk will address factors to consider in providing sex education, including curriculum choice, legal statutes, instructional methodologies, sexual variations, social skills, and masturbation instruction.
