Summary:
Dr. Shane Spike and Dr. Amanda DiGangi will share research and insights into assessing and addressing issues of sexuality among our students with developmental disabilities in public schools. Sexuality concerns can include a variety of behaviors and may occur at any age. Often teachers and behavior specialists find speaking with families about these issues difficult or awkward. The presenters' straightforward approach will provide strategies for working through those awkward moments with families.
